Count objects from a photo
Capture a group of objects, repeated shapes or items in a container. Get an estimated count and tap the image to correct missed or extra detections.
1. Take a picture or choose a photo
Your photo remains on your device. CHAAAM analyzes image pixels locally in your browser and does not submit selected photos to CHAAAM servers. Camera permission is requested only when you press Open camera.
Select an image or open the camera to start.
2. Choose how to count
Tap Measure from image, then tap two opposite edges of one object.
Tap one example object in the photo to sample its color. Similar separated color regions will be counted.
REVIEWED COUNT
Choose a shape and measure a representative object directly on the photo. Tap a detected marker to remove it, or tap a missed object to add one. Markers are estimates, not certified inspection results.
Tips for a better count
- Keep all objects visible, separated and evenly lit.
- For shiny or transparent objects, use a contrasting background, even lighting and a straight-down view.
- Adjust diameter or color tolerance and count again.
- Always verify before inventory, manufacturing or quality decisions.
Limit: Shape presets and two-point pixel measurement do not provide calibrated real-world dimensions or reliable general-purpose object recognition. This version uses classical image processing, not a trained general-purpose object recognition model. Overlapping, transparent or reflective objects, glare and clutter can produce inaccurate results.
